Bridge Point Team

I have been a pastor in since 2012. Before Bridge Point Church, I was on pastoral staff at Mamlalka Hill Chapel, Nairobi, Kenya for three years. In 2015, my family and I moved to New Jersey where I joined the Powerhouse Christian Church pastoral team. In August 2020, together with a few friends, we founded Bridge Point Church. 
Before I joined the pastorate, I was a High School math and physics teacher and a missionary to Uganda in East Africa.  

Over the last 30 years, I have had the opportunities to visit many African countries, parts of Europe and Asia spreading the good news of Jesus. I enjoy interacting with people and foods from cultures that are different from mine.

I have served as a lay leader and pastor for many years dating back into the eighties. I started and handed off a church in Bridgewater, NJ, and was the campus pastor of Powerhouse Christian Church, Bridgewater. I had worked for UPS through the years. My wife Grace and I just celebrated 41 years of marriage. We have four wonderful children who are all married and we have 9 grandchildren. We have been called to serve the body of Christ here in NJ.

I have several roles at Bridge Point Church. I preach, teach, care for and encourage those who have joined us on mission, and those who God brings into my life.

I am a lifelong musician and have been playing professionally as a lead guitarist and singer/songwriter since my teens. My wife Allison, my 2 daughters, Sarah and Kaia, and myself all came to know The Lord together as a result of Hurricane Irene in 2011. Since then my passion and purpose is to bring others closer to God through music and to experience His presence in a powerful way.
